is the Founder and President of Grace Leisure Events, LLC. After graduating from Kenyon College with a degree in Art History in 1998, Grace began her career at the internationally-renowned Christie’s auction house in London. In early 1999 she moved to New York City to pursue event planning. Grace moved to North Carolina in January of 2004 to accept a job as an Event Planner at the award-winning Catering Company of Chapel Hill.

Grace has been featured locally in Wake Living magazine, The Bride’s Book, The Knot North Carolina, Durham Magazine and Chapel Hill Magazine, and nationally in Modern Bride and Elegant Bride magazines. In 2009 she will be featured nationally on TV on the CW Network’s wedding reality show, Hitched or Ditched. Grace currently lives in Durham with her husband Matthew and their dog, JP.

is currently the head chef at Six Plates in Durham. After beginning his restaurant career in New York, Ted has worked in kitchens in Washington D.C., Milwaukee, WI, and most recently San Diego, CA. Ted graduated from Marquette University with a degree in Business Admin. Ted can also eat more yogurt than you.

is a Durham native who has over a decade of experience working in Triangle restaurants. He is the former co-owner of Pop's and Rue-Cler, and former general manager of Nana's. Beason's love for food, and specifically wine, began before he knew he could make a career of it, when he began wine clubs in college. Every wine lover has their first love; the experience that changed everything. For Beason it happened with close friends at Paris's Arpege, a Michelin three-star restaurant. The bottle was a 1995 JL Chave Hermitage Blanc. He'll never forget it. Suddenly, he saw wine for what it could be: something that could make a dish taste perfect. Something that could change scents four times over the course of the bottle. You can find Matthew behind the bar at Six Plates, well...almost all of the time.
